The Administrative staff at Professional Plating works hard to provide customers, both internal and external with the information they need to keep orders moving swiftly through the production process.
- A daily e-mail greets Team Members when they arrive at their work stations each morning to give them a snap-shot of the previous day’s results and the tools they need to plan the work flow for the week ahead.
- Working with our computer staff, Managers and Team Leaders are able to ask for system modifications or enhancements to make their jobs more efficient or have the ability to obtain data they need to improve productivity and quality.
- Our Customer Service and Sales teams have data and reports available to them to aid in sales trending and customer presentations.
- Team members throughout the organization are continually being trained on both our Production Management work order system and our Open Systems Accounting System.
- Computer workstations and printers are located at each production line in the plant to give our line Operators and Lead People quick and easy access to customer orders and processing job sheets.
Electronic invoicing
Professional Plating is pleased to be able to offer a new option to more efficiently get invoices to our customers. Rather than sending invoices through the traditional US Mail system, customers can choose to receive their invoices electronically, via e-mail. The customers who receive their invoices via this feature are very pleased with the speed at which they are billed and they in turn can bill their customers. Order Shipment Notification
Getting an order shipped to your customer can be a nightmare if transit time between your location and your outside vendors is involved. If you are contemplating having an order shipped direct to your customer after it is done being processed at Professional Plating, but are concerned about not knowing when the shipment takes place, contact us about receiving our Shipment Confirmation e-mail! This program will send an e-mail to a contact person at your company upon us shipping parts to a 3rd party. This e-mail notification will contain all the information you need to identify the order (Part Number, Purchase Order Number, Lot Number, Quantity, etc.), along with shipment information (Ship via, LTL Pro number, UPS Tracking number, etc.). Order Confirmation
Professional Plating has taken the guesswork out of wondering if an order has arrived at our location. If you are interested in receiving an e-mail to confirm that an order has been entered into our system, along with an anticipated ship date, please contact us. The appropriate Professional Plating Customer Service representative also receives a copy of this e-mail so that they too have visibility to your order and subsequent planned ship date.
