October is Breast Cancer Awareness MonthCohen
Nov 03, 2013
Wear Pink for breast cancer awareness was held on Tuesday, October 29th. This city-wide event to “paint the city pink” was done to raise awareness for breast cancer.
Professional Plating was once again looking for a head-to-toe display of pink on all team members willing to participate. Teams earned points for wearing specific articles of pink clothing (shirt, pants, hat/head wear, socks). The team with the highest percentage of points this year was the Offline E-coat team, followed by the Office and 1st Shift Rack Zinc.
We have survivors working among us and many of us personally know of people who have or are dealing with breast cancer. This showing of support was another example of the awesome PPI team exhibiting their true colors (pink in this case). Professional Plating also made a monetary donation to the Brillion High School Sting Cancer group whose mission is to support local families dealing with cancer.
