The economy certainly is giving many companies in the area reason to worry. However, the team at Professional Plating Inc in Brillion is focusing on what they can do to better support their customers needs and growing into the future!
In celebration of their 30th anniversary, the company recently held an open house for their customers, suppliers and the general public. The day was well attended, with over 550 visitors made up of family, friends, customers and state and local dignitaries. The tour of the facility showcased the newly constructed 65,000 sq ft addition. The community got a bird’s eye view of zinc plating, e-coating, powder painting and ceramic coating, as the plant was fully functional that day. The team at Professional Plating Inc is proud of the hard work that has given them the reputation they have today, being a leader in finishing and value-added services.
The Professional Plating Inc story began in 1979 when owners Bob and Pat Endries started the company with one zinc barrel plating line. As the years progressed, the need for more zinc capabilities and other finishes were being requested, and the company grew. Always keeping their focus on their mantra of environmental responsibility, additions were also made to the wastewater treatment system. In 2008, the company was awarded a Green Tier recognition by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. 2009 marks the 30 year anniversary of the company, and the PPI team is looking forward to continued growth.
Many compliments were heard by those attending the open house and attendees were amazed at the size of the facility and the cleanliness of the manufacturing area. Most were not aware of what processes Professional Plating Inc offers to their customers.
