PPI’s state-of-the-art powder-coating system includes 10-stages of pre-treatment, featuring iron phosphate and non-chrome sealant to maximize corrosion protection.

ProGard™

Magnesium and aluminum parts must be pretreated to prepare the substrate prior to coating. Our ProGard conversion process assures the best coating adhesion and corrosion resistance available.

Ceramic Exhaust Coatings

Ceramic provides a very high thermal barrier typically used with exhaust components.

Our specialty coating technicians (shown left) are using one of our abrasive blasters to prepare the surface of parts prior to ceramic coating.

CERMAKROME (MCX)
Is our most popular coating which has a similar high-luster chrome look. Its high temperature range is capable of 1300°F.

CAST IRON GRAY
This coating is recommended for restoring exhaust manifolds to an original factory cast iron look. No touch-up painting required when you choose our show quality cast iron gray.

BLACK SATIN
Is a great choice for racing applications as it can reach temperatures of 2000°F without failing.

Dyno-proven results show horsepower increases as engine temperatures decrease due to increased exhaust flow.

Custom Powder Coatings

We can provide hundreds of different colors for your Motorcycle, ATV, Snowmobile or Automotive restoration projects. Our batch oven has the capacity to accommodate parts up to 25’ long. There is no job too small or too large.

Internal Engine Coatings

This coating acts as a barrier between dissimilar metals to reduce friction. Typical applications for this process would be piston tops and skirts, cylinder heads, rocker arms and valve springs.
