Overview: The Financial Controller plays a key role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring smooth office functions. This position manages financial reporting, month-end close processes, tax coordination, and office operations, while driving process improvements and providing strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP. Prepare monthly financial statements and manage balance sheet accounts.
- Tax Reporting: Serve as the liaison with external CPA firms for tax filings and compliance, ensuring all tax documentation is accurate and timely.
- Treasury & Financial Operations: Manage cash flow, supervise accounts payable and receivable, and oversee order entry to ensure financial accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency across financial and logistical processes. Participate in special projects, such as system implementations and financial analyses.
- Office & Logistical Management: Oversee general office operations, maintain company systems, and support production management and order completion.
- Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning: Conduct financial modeling and collaborate with teams to optimize processes and drive profitability.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Assess financial and operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification required.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial operations.
- Leadership and process improvement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
