As a Line Leader on 2nd shift, you will be responsible for the production of our E-Coat paint process and overseeing the team. Hours are 4P-12A Mon-Fri.
Earn up to $22.75 which includes shift premium and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Perform operational duties including; making adjustments to the process, communicating with customer service, aiding and training new team members, completing necessary paperwork, ensure efficient product flow.
- Effectively communicates necessary information with department members and management.
- Prepares packaging for orders in anticipation of the completion of those orders.
- Monitors, tracks and orders packaging supplies.
- Visually inspect all finished parts and accept/reject parts per customer specifications and makes final production determinations.
- Reports out first pass at end of shift and all requested first pass information throughout the shift for process reviews and customer commitments.
- Communicate with scheduler, tank maintenance and leadership team on a timely manner.
- Updating of reference materials to include packaging pictures and acceptance criteria pictures.
- Completes orders in the computer.
- Coordinates and communicates information of any necessary rework of any rejected parts.
- Recognize process/product-related issues and provide possible solutions to avoid rework and maximize productivity.
Job Requirements:
Previous manufacturing experience; basic math and reading skills; basic understanding of mechanical concepts; strong communication and organization skills; chemical training (we will provide this); computer literate; ability to give direction to other team members; and effective time management skills.
